Based on a coffee mill that was used by Greek soldiers in the early 20th century, the mill design includes a flanged base for stability and a durable all-metal body. Built as a pair with the pepper mill, the salt mill a plastic grinding mechanism, as salt corrodes metal. Available in copper and brass. Manufactured by a small, family-run company in northern Greece.
